Mission Statement:
At Healing Homestead, our mission is to provide a peaceful, loving refuge where senior and hospice dogs that end up in shelters can spend their final days in comfort, dignity, and care. We believe every animal deserves to feel safe, valued, and cherished, especially in their twilight stage.
As we grow, Healing Homestead will expand to welcome disabled dogs, those needing a calm space to decompress, pregnant mothers and their puppies, dogs that are left alone when their human passes away, and others who require specialized care beyond a traditional shelter setting. With the future establishment of our sanctuary property, we will provide long-term care for animals who need a forever home.
Healing Homestead is more than a sanctuary—it is a place of rest, renewal, and unconditional love, where every animal is given the peace and belonging they deserve.
